Z-Shield® (2L) is an EMI shielding solution utilizing a dual layer of PFR-8235 jacketing and a flexible shielding cloth. The PFR-8235 is a polyurethane film that has resistance to abrasion, fluids, chemicals, and UV exposure. The flexible jacketing is also UL-rated for flammability, meeting UL-510. The jacketing has an acrylic adhesive that provides a secure, long-lasting seal.

The Z-3250 shielding cloth is made of a copper-plated polyester taffeta fabric. The shielding material is flexible yet strong with providing excellent corrosion resistance and resistance to environmental degradation. The Z-3250 cloth has shielding coverage of approximately 98%, which keeps the wires or cables protected from EMI, RFI, and EMF.

Z-Shield® (2L) has the option to add a 15 AWG or 27 AWG braided ground wire. Z-Shield® (2L) can be cut to any desired length with a standard pair of scissors, offering more versatility of applications. Z-Shield® (2L) is offered in standard sizes for diameters ranging from 0.5” to 4”. The operational temperature range -40° to 250°F* (-40°C to 121°C).
