  • Ideal for wires or cables larger than 0.5" in diameter

HeatReflect® (ALP) is a heat shielding tape that can withstand temperatures of up to 300°F. The ALP-500 is a polymer-coated fiberglass fabric with a reflective aluminum heat barrier. The self-extinguishing, fire-retardant material meets SAE J2302 for thermal effectiveness, making this heat shielding tape the perfect choice for the automotive industry. The clear, acrylic-based, high-temperature transfer adhesive provides a secure seal to ensure longevity of protection.

HeatReflect® (ALP) requires no disassembly of wires and is easy to install – just remove the paper liner and wrap around. HeatReflect® (ALP) is offered in a standard 1” wide 25-foot roll, with custom widths and larger roll lengths available upon request. HeatReflect® (ALP) has an operational temperature range of -58°F to 300°F (-50°C to 149°C).

If you require a heat shielding tape that is thinner for smaller diameters, HeatReflect® (ALS) is the perfect solution.
