  • Fire-retardant fiberglass material
  • High-temperature acrylic adhesive closure
  • Can be wrapped around any size wire or cable

HeatReflect® (ALS) is a high temperature heat shielding tape. The ALS-5 cloth is a woven fiberglass fabric with a reflective aluminum heat barrier. The fabric is lightweight at only 0.006” thick, making it the ideal tape for smaller diameter wires or cables. The fire-retardant material meets SAE J2302 for thermal effectiveness and Mil-C-24929A for radiant reflectivity. The clear, acrylic-based transfer adhesive closure provides a secure seal to ensure longevity of protection. The adhesive is also intended for high temperatures of up to 300°F.

HeatReflect® (ALS) requires no disassembly of wires and is easy to install – just remove the paper liner and wrap around. HeatReflect® (ALS) is offered in a standard 1” wide 25-foot roll, with custom widths and larger roll lengths available upon request. HeatReflect® (ALS) has an operational temperature range of -58°F to 300°F (-50°C to 149°C).

If you require a heat shielding tape that is thicker for larger diameters, HeatReflect® (ALP) is the perfect solution.
