Zip-Mesh® (CU) is an EMI shielding mesh tape that combines tinned copper mesh and copper foil to provide protection against EMI, RFI, and EMF. Zip-Mesh® (CU) has a self-adhesive tape closure that provides a secure seal around components. Because of its easy application, Zip-Mesh® (CU) is perfect for cable splices, branch-outs, and transitions to connector hardware to provide a complete 360 degree shielding solution. Zip-Mesh® (CU) was originally engineered for the military because they were in need of an EMI shielding solution that also provided excellent salt corrosion resistance. Zip-Mesh® (CU) is also fit for aerospace applications because of its lightweight and EMI shielding properties that the industry typically requires.

Zip-Mesh® (CU) is offered in 1” and 2” tape widths with custom sizes available upon request. Zip-Mesh® (CU) has an operational temperature range of -40°F to 347°F (-40°C to 175°C).

Zip-Mesh® is also available as Zip-Mesh® (AL), an EMI shielding mesh tape with an aluminum foil, or Zip-Mesh®, which is just the EMI shielding mesh in a tape roll. If you require a bit more flexibility, our plated copper and nickel Z-3250-Tape™ or our copper-plated, halogen-free Z-7200 Tape™ are ideal for high-flexing applications.

ATTENUATION DATA WAS OBTAINED USING MIL-DTL-83528H (MODIFIED). TESTING WAS PERFORMED BY ACCREDITED, THIRD-PARTY EMI LABORATORIES.
