Overview

  • Closed cell Neoprene foam
  • Resistant to water, oil, and sunlight
  • Nylon fabric facing adds extra durability
  • Extremely flexible with good amount of stretch

NFN is a flexible, dual-laminate material consisting of closed cell neoprene foam bonded between two layers of woven nylon stretch fabric. The closed cell structure of the neoprene foam provides effective insulation, cushioning, and impact absorption, while the durable nylon fabric facing enhances mechanical protection, tear resistance, and surface wear durability. This construction delivers a well-balanced combination of flexibility, resilience, and environmental resistance.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, NFN offers excellent resistance to water, oil, and UV exposure, making it ideal for protective applications exposed to harsh conditions. It performs reliably across a broad temperature range, with an operating temperature span from -15°F to 150°F, and maintains a shelf life of up to 60 months under proper storage conditions.

Available in standard thicknesses of 1/16”, 1/8”, and 1/4” (with custom thicknesses available upon request), NFN can be used independently as a protective padding layer or integrated with other Zippertubing® materials to form custom protective covers, wraps, or enclosures. Its high flexibility and moderate stretch make it easy to conform around complex shapes or irregular components.

NFN is a dependable material choice when enhanced durability, flexibility, and environmental resistance are required—whether in standalone padding applications or as part of a custom-engineered solution from Zippertubing®.
