Overview

  • Military-grade and conforms to the requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/12 Class 5
  • Highly flexible, semi-rigid heat shrink tubing material
  • UL-Rated for Flammability; UL 224, VW-1

PTFE is a clear, Teflon, flame-retardant, abrasion-resistant, and chemically inert heat shrink tubing that can be used for a variety of applications. This electrical insulation tubing is a highly flexible yet durable material, and with having a temperature range of -85°F to 500°F, PTFE can be used in extreme conditions. PTFE is military-grade and conforms to the requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/12 Class 5. PTFE is available in both 2:1 and 4:1 heat shrink ratios. PTFE can be used in multiple configurations; a perfect example is our Shrink-N-Shield® (Nano) 4:1, which provides 360° of EMI shielding and abrasion protection to wires as small as 0.015” in diameter.
