Overview

  • Separating plastic zippers
  • For re-entry sleeves with sizes 1/2” & up, with lengths up to 200 feet.
  • High strength & very flexible
  • Custom colors & slider configurations
  • No extra tools required
  • Excellent for frequent open and close cycles

Toothed zippers consist of individual molded plastic interlocking teeth attached to a separating Polyester fabric tape which has a fixed start and stop point. The zipper is closed via a self-locking slider which makes a zipper installation tool free. Toothed zippers are available as a medium or heavyweight, highly flexible, closure system for cables where a tool-free installation is desired and the open/closure cycle frequency is likely to be high. Toothed zippers can be used in very large size applications by increasing the tooth size. Ideally all zippers should be used in applications that are free of dirt and debris which could cause jamming, however toothed zippers are easily cleaned with a small brush if contaminated. MS-5220 zippers are completely halogen free and can be combined with halogen free jacketing (and shielding) to create completely zero-halogen sleeving solutions.
