This hot melt is a polyamide polymer material that creates no corrosion of copper and aluminum metal substrates. The polyamide hot melt is ideal to pair with polyolefin, PVC, or EVA-type tubing to create a water blocking heat shrink solution. The polyamide hot melt is installed with a standard heat gun, and can handle temperatures up to 275°F (135°C).
