Overview

  • EN ISO 11612 Certified: A1 B1 C3 D3 E3 F1 for protective equipment
  • Flexible and soft carbon & aramid woven back-side
  • Excellent radiant heat protection and resistance to molten metal splash
  • Very flexible and durable aluminized front-side

ACW-25 is a medium weight aluminized protective fabric engineered for PPE and protective equipment used in environments with radiant heat and molten metal splash exposure. The material combines a flexible, durable aluminized front-side with a soft carbon and aramid woven back-side, providing excellent heat protection, flexibility, and durability without the stiffness often associated with fiberglass-based constructions. Certified to EN ISO 11612 with ratings of A1, B1, C4, D3, E3, and F1, ACW-25 is also REACH compliant and RoHS-10 compliant, with an operating temperature range of -40°F to 356°F (-40°C to 180°C). ACW-25 is a strong material choice for high-performance protective covers, shields, and PPE used in demanding thermal protection application.
