Career Experience
Before joining Zippertubing, Matt was an engineer for several large aerospace and defense companies including Honeywell, Raytheon, and Orbital ATK. As an individual contributor, Matt was responsible for communication system analysis, requirements definition, antenna design, trade studies, writing test & integration procedures, designing cable harnesses, designing ground support equipment consoles, and creating proposals for new business opportunities. As a team member and team lead Matt helped test and launch the first version of a new class of launch vehicle, tested and qualified high altitude launch support equipment, and developed the communication system architecture of a new version of interceptor missile.
With Zippertubing, Matt’s responsibilities include: New product development, EMI shielding design, legacy product support, product training, installation & test support, creating production drawings, materials qualification, and working directly with customers on unique product design.
