Our proven PRT® heat shrink wrap with additional hot-melt, water-blocking adhesive (up to 275°F)

This product combines the proven characteristics of two products, our PRT® wrap-around heat shrink tubing and our water-blocking, hot-melt adhesive Z-Block® (135). Together, these two products provide one of the best ways to fix an in-service repair, and offer complete 360° protection against anything that the environment may throw at it.

Z-Block® is a water-blocking, heat shrink electrical tape that is specifically engineered to environmentally seal your wires or cables. The product is comprised of a non-corrosive polyamide, high-flow, hot-melt adhesive that is simply melted by using a standard heat gun.

PRT® is made from MIL-SPEC polyolefin heat shrink tubing that is flame-retardant, RoHS-compliant, and UL-rated. This product is a wrap-around heat shrink that provides a means of repairing in-service, pre-installed applications where wires or cables may be damaged. It can be used as a secondary protection installation for applications that require additional protection.

PRT® (ES-135) has an operational temperature range of -55° to 135° C, and the product is available in 50-ft. rolls and a variety of diameters.
