The perfect protection on critical components in a demanding environment sites is Zippertubing's Zipper-Mesh (ALHTG-65). Zipper-Mesh (ALHTG-65) is one of the most protective thermal-and EMI-shielded jackets that is currently available. This product is a prime example of an all-inclusive, composite, protective jacketing system. It combines one of our highest-performing thermal barrier materials, ALHTG-65, with our most rugged and flexible EMI-shielding mesh, SHX4.
If heat is a concern, then you'll love to see the temperature ratings of our ALHTG-65 thermal-protective material. The material is high-temperature glass, fiber-jacketing that has an operating temperature of 1,022°F, and will withstand short-term exposures as high as 1,380°F.
These two materials are sewn together using a Kevlar-covered, stainless-steel thread and is closed using a high-temperature zipper that creates a robust covering that is easy to access whenever necessary. This particular jacket can be custom engineered to fit around electrical connectors measuring virtually any diameter. The jacketing also features two sets of 15 AWG braided grounding straps with affixed wire terminals to ensure a reliable, low-impedance connection from end to end.
This flexible, thermal-protective, EMI-shielded, all-in-one jacket will satisfy most heat and EMI issues. Need a custom solution for your particular EMI or thermal issue? Call The Zippertubing Company today, we have a team of engineers ready to solve just about any problem you may have.
