Details

Shrink-N-Shield® (PVDF) shields from EMI and protects from harsh environmental conditions such as abrasion, fluids, and flames.

Shrink-N-Shield® (PVDF) is an EMI shielding heat-shrink tubing that can be installed in one simple step. The Kynar® heat-shrink tubing is military grade meeting MIL-DTL-23053/18, Class 3 and UL-rated for flammability meeting UL224, VW-1. The tubing provides excellent fluid resistance and the best abrasion resistance. This heat shrink has a 2:1 shrink ratio for versatility in application uses. This durable heat shrink is utilized for applications exposed to rugged conditions.

The Z-3250-CN shielding cloth is made of a taffeta fabric plated with copper and then nickel for excellent corrosion protection. The lightweight, flexible shielding cloth will not flake or deteriorate over time, so you can be confident that your components will have long-lasting protection against EMI, RFI, and EMF. The shielding fabric is adhered to the heat-shrink tubing with a solvent-based liquid adhesive that has a high tack and bonding strength.

This product only requires a standard heat gun for installation. Shrink-N-Shield® (PVDF) is offered for diameters ranging from 0.1875” to 1”, with custom sizes available upon request. The operational temperature range is -67°F to 221°F (-55°C to 105°C).

Benefits

  • Flame-retardant, abrasion-resistant, fluid-resistant tubing
