 High Performance PTFE Coated Fiberglass Jacketing, 5 Mil
PTG-5 is a lightweight Polytetrafluoroethyene (PTFE) Teflon coated; fine weave fiberglass glass fabric that is .005 inches thick. The material conforms to Mil-I-18746 and the Teflon coating make this material ideal for high and low temperatures and/or applications requiring exposure to severe chemical environments. The material has a long history of usage in the Aerospace and Spacecraft industries and is most commonly supplied with Zippertubing’s FEP Teflon Z-Track closure. The operational temperature range is -73 to 260ºC.
