Wrap Around Heat Shrinkable Tubing
|
PRT™ is a wrap around heat shrinkable tubing that provides a means of repairing wire and cable insulation or adding secondary protection to in-service electrical systems without the need to remove or disassemble the associated connectors and end hardware. A heat gun is used to recover the material in a fashion similar to standard, non-split, heat shrinkable tubing. PRT™ tubing can also be used as a stand alone product or in conjunction with Zippertubing’s
Z-3250-CN EMI shielding cloth or Z-Block Tape materials to create EMI hardened and/or environmentally sealed cable assemblies. This material has an operational temperature range of -55 to 135ºC.
