Insuflect-250

Aluminized Fiberglass & Silica Glass Composite Jacket, Up to 250ºC
High temperature composite heat barrier designed to protect wiring, hoses, pipes or electronic modules. Insuflect-250 is the ideal material for providing thermal protection at temperatures of 250ºC continuous (300ºC/minutes). The material yields an outstanding thermal effectiveness value of 95ºC when tested per SAE J2302 at 482ºC. This level is well beyond the capabilities of classic single layer, aluminized fiberglass heat reflective materials. Insuflect-250 is available as a wrap around product using a stainless steel snap button closure or as a pull-thru jacket sewn closed with high temperature Kevlar thread. Insuflect-250 was developed to extend the survivability of sensitive components in a world of ever increasing under-hood temperatures.
