Hot-Spotz® II Tape

Aluminized Fiberglass Insulating Tape, Up to 177 C
Hot-Spotz II® Tape is a heat reflective thermal insulating tape which offers a convenient method of adding effective spot protection to hundreds of applications where excessive radiant heat is a problem. Hot-Spotz II® combines a durable woven fiberglass fabric coated with a polymeric compound and a laminated Aluminum Foil layer on one side. The Aluminum reflects radiant heat and acts as a vapor barrier while the high-temperature fiberglass fabric insulates the protected component. An Acrylic transfer adhesive strip on the fiberglass side aids in keeping the coil windings in place as the material is installed. This product has an operational temperature range of -40 to 177ºC.
