Anti-Static Cable Jacket, 25 Mil
|
AST-25 is a conductive Carbon loaded, fire retardant, PVC coated Polyester fabric material. It is an excellent abrasion jacket combined with anti-static properties. A properly grounded AST-25 jacket has an electrical resistance of less than 25 meg-ohms and will eliminate static charge buildup and prevent potentially explosive conditions or damage to static sensitive electronic devices. AST-25 can be used to protect electrical cabling in clean room environments from static charge buildup common with most other plastic insulation materials. The materials rugged construction makes it ideal for fabricating anti-static airflow ducting for use in tunnels, mines, or electronics ventilation systems. AST-25 is available in the classic Zippertubing wrap around design and can be closed with a variety of closure devices. The operational temperature range for AST-25 is -20 to 75ÂșC.
