ALFG-28

Aluminized Fiberglass Jacket, Heat, Spark & Flame Protection, 177 C
ALFG-28 is a medium weight; Polyvinylchloride impregnated fiberglass fabric with a heat reflective Aluminum Foil surface laminated on one side. The combination makes ALFG-28 a flexible and durable heat protection jacket material with good abrasion characteristics. ALFG-28 is best in moderate temperature heat barrier applications where a mechanically tough jacket is required. The polymer coating allows various PVC extruded closures to be electronically welded or sewn to the jacket material. Teflon® and Polyurethane Z-Track materials are also available. A track closures allow the product to be easily zipped around cables, pipes, hoses, tubes and other lines while in place. The aluminized fiberglass jacket material provides protection against high temperature radiant heat as well as flame and sparks. The material has a operational temperature range of -40ºC to 177ºC.
