SLM Slider
The SLM tool is a Stainless Steel slider tool designed for closing Zippertubing M-Track products. It is required for all M-Track installations. The M-Track closure is similar to the smaller R-Track and S-Track closures but cannot be closed with finger pressure alone.
The M-Track's physical size and high engagement force demands the use of a high strength engagement tool like the SLM. Track closure is achieved by inserting the upper and lower halves of the track interlock into the tool and then sliding the tool down the cable run. Sliding the SLM tool along the cable run forms the M-Track jacket around the cable harness and snaps it together to form a continuous tube. Use the SLM tool for all production line and field installations. Refer to the "How to Use" document for detailed instructions on the SLM slider tool.
