Heat-Wrap
Adhesive Closed, Wrap Around Heat Barrier, Up to 149 C
Heat-Wrap was designed for moderate temperature, low cost heat barrier applications. Heat-Wrap uses a high performance Acrylic adhesive closure system that provides excellent bond strength when combined with the ALP-500 jacket material. The adhesive closure yields a product that is easy to install (no tooling) and has a low installed cost. The adhesive system has very good fluid resistance and will not degrade with exposure to Ultraviolet light. This material is ideal for adding low cost thermal spot protection to wires and cables. This product has an operational temperature range of -40 to 149ºC.
